The word "pride" has 2 definitions in the English language and we at Burlington Basketball embrace them both.  What exactly is this thing called "Panther Pride"?

Each Volunteer and Player in all the Programs of Burlington Basketball, all of whom are considered Panthers, are part of the larger "Panther Pride".  The Panther Pride is made up of individuals who work together as a team, for the betterment of the entire pride, both on and off the court. Panthers are willing to sacrifice and work unselfishly for the betterment of the pride.

"Panther Pride" is what our entire club feels when any team or individual with the Panther Logo on their chest is positively acknowledged on or off the floor, for any accomplishment.  Whether acknowledged for a respectful attitude, good sportsmanship, exemplary dedication to a work ethic while winning or losing, all Panthers are reflected in the actions of each member of the Pride.

When you agree to wear the Burlington Basketball Panther Logo, you agree to act and respond in a way that not only Burlington Basketball would be proud to acknowledge but also our great city of Burlington and all the people who call it home. 

It should be the goal of every volunteer or player to wear the Burlington Basketball Panther, to leave our club in a better and stronger condition than the day we joined. Leaving a legacy the next generation of Panthers can embrace.
