The Pink Panthers, is a name given to Burlington Basketball's efforts to "Give Back" to our community. Effective September 1st 2009, any fund raising activity any Panther team participates in, must have a component of "Giving Back" to the community of Burlington. Whether it is a donation to Joseph Brant Hospital or a search for the cure for "Breast Cancer", all fund raising requires a minimum of 10% give back to our community. During special events like AllStar and MBAB evaluation Days or Finals Days, Burlington Basketball holds fundraisers specifically for an announced Charity. Parents and Players, all members of the greater Panther Pride are thanked for all their support and generous giving in the past. It's a sign of our "Panther Pride" Previous Panther Pride Donations include: $567 to Joseph Brant Memorial Hospital $438 to the CIBC Run for Cure including a Panther coach doing the footwork! |
